Ferry Service Routes and Times in Dubai
Introduced by the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) in 2011, Dubai Ferry operates on five major routes. Stops include:
- Dubai Water Canal Station
- Jumeirah
- Sheikh Zayed Road
- Dubai Design District
- Dubai Festival City
- Marina Mall
- and Al Ghubaiba Ferry Station
Route One begins at Al Ghubaiba Ferry station and includes Dubai Water Canal Station and Dubai Marina Mall Station and vice versa. On this ferry, children aged 0 to 5 years go free. Adults pay AED50.00 per person for a Silver ticket (one-way) and AED70.00 per person for a Gold ticket (one-way). The ferry takes one hour and 40 minutes and departs at 11.00 am/ 1.00 pm and 6.30 pm.
Routes Two and Three also begin at Al Ghubaiba Ferry station, but go to Jumeirah Beach. This ferry leaves at 3.00 pm and 5.00 pm and takes one hour for a round trip. A Gold class ticket for this ferry costs AED75.00 per adult. A family ticket costs AED210.00, which includes two adults and two children.
Routes Four and Five begin at Marina Mall station and go to Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis The Palm. On this ferry adults pay AED50.00 per person for a Silver class ticket. A family ticket, covering two adults and two children, costs AED140.00. Children aged between 2 and 10 years receive a 50% discount on single ferry ticket fares. Children less than two-years-old go free.
Passengers can pay cash or pay by card at the ticket office adjacent to the Dubai Ferry stations.
